Equipment

To use Bulldog Business broadband services you need special broadband equipment to connect your PCs and phones to the Bulldog phone lines installed at your office. The type of equipment you require depends on which Bulldog Business service you select:

Small Business Plus

Thomson SpeedTouch 330 USB Modem

The Small Business Plus router supports ADSL2+, combining four Ethernet interfaces for the office LAN with an 802.11b/g wireless access point. The router also supports Bulldog's additional 2nd & 3rd line voice services, allowing customers to connect two analog telephones.

Small Business – Single Line

To access the Internet you’ll need a piece of equipment called a modem or a router, which you plug into your phone socket, and then connect to your computer. You also need a small device called a micro-filter – this allows us to supply your broadband and phone service down one line and means you can make phone calls and browse the internet at the same time.

ADSL Wireless Router (£49)

Thomson SpeedTouch 585 ADSL modem/wireless router

Recommended for DoubleSpeed Broadband services, the Thomson SpeedTouch 585 Wireless Router is ideal for multi users. You can share superfast up to 16 meg broadband connectivity through Ethernet and wireless connections. If your PC is not wireless-enabled already (e.g. it is not built with Intel Centrino), we recommend you to purchase a wireless dongle / adapter / card / bridge separately for your PC via your online account or Bulldog Customer Service. You must connect the equipment to your line as soon as you receive it so that it is ready when we activate your DoubleSpeed Broadband service. Includes 1 microfilter.
